Parent Cocktail Party and Silent Auction, Saturday, June 7th

Enjoy a festive, adult evening over wine, appetizers, and dessert with new and returning Legend parents.  Come and learn more about the 2008 season from the coaches and celebrate with pride.  Out-bid your competition in the silent auction and win fabulous prizes to boot.

Dad’s 10 and under sleepover, Saturday, June 21^st

Chairperson:  H.B. Drake

Dads and 10 and under swimmers are welcome to participate in this fun-filled camping extravaganza.  Pitch your tents in the grass by the pool.  Enjoy a fabulous dinner and family movie under the stars.  Finish off with breakfast in the morning.

Mom’s Night Out, Saturday, June 21^st

Chairperson:  Kelly Gervasi

While the dads and the kids are away, the moms will play.  Enjoy a curfew-free evening at Siam Orchid in Orinda with other Legend moms.

Picture Day, Friday, June 27^th

Chairperson:  Deb Sitzmann

Individual pictures will be taken from 9:00 – 11:00 am.  The team picture will be taken promptly at 11:15am.  Be sure to wear your team suits AND t-shirts.

Water Carnival, Friday, June 27^th

Following the team photos, the coaches will lead the swimmers in an action packed hour of water fun.  Cannonball contests, sharks and minnows, and a baby pool whirlpool are just some of the games that are sure to please.  Icy snow cones will be served.

Legend Pride Night / Chili Cook-off, Thursday, July 10^th

Celebrate Legend pride and have a blast at everyone’s favorite potluck of the season.  Prizes will be awarded for the best chili in several categories.

Dragon Ball, Wednesday, July 30^th

This is the highlight of the season for our legendary swimmers and coaches!  Younger swimmers are paired up with older swimmers and coaches for a night of dinner, dancing and celebration into the evening.

Post-OMPA dinner, Sunday, August 10^th

Hungry swimmers, coaches, and parents will convene at SHSTC after the OMPA for a hearty barbeque dinner.  Inspirational words from the coaches and a wrap-up after the big championship will top off the most exciting weekend of the season.

Awards Program, Sunday, September 14^th

Each swimmer will receive an award at this important end of season event.  Light refreshments will be served.
